- Who should attend?
Those KSi attendees who are new to the teaching profession and/or more experienced educators who want to become more productive and confident in their classroom.
- Why become a Kingdom Teacher?
Because as teachers who are Christians, everything we do should be done "as unto the Lord."
At KSi, we believe there are FIVE CORE VALUES that every Kingdom Teacher must master:
A Kingdom Teacher:
- leads a God-honoring personal life
- grows as a professional
- develops strong student relationships
- masters teh Art of Teaching: classroom instruction
- honors parent relationships
- What will be covered?
Along with making a case for the five core values of a Kingdom Teacher, attendees will be given specific tools that will support them in developing these core values! Time will also be given for personal reflection and goal setting.
It is our desire that everyone who completes this track would leave inspired and empowered: inspired to create rich K-12 learning environments where students will thrive and empowered to become all that God has created them to be as teachers in their classrooms.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
