They are reliable, even when a school finds itself in the midst of ongoing economic, social, or political shifts. In these types of environments, building and maintaining a foundation for Kingdom education is challenging due to the complexity of the obstacles. Jerry Nelson is a graduate of St. Thomas University with degrees in History and Educational Leadership. For the last decade, he has studied the cultural shifts of his native South Florida while seeking to implement the principles of Kingdom Education and build a God-glorifying school in the midst of rapid change. Jerry is the Head of School at Northwest Christian Academy in Miami, FL where he has served his alma mater for fourteen years. He also serves on the ACSI Florida Regional Council as a district and urban schools representative.
